ALL SAINTS CHURCH, TRYSULL
The flower festivals at All Saints Church are normally held every other year and justifiably have a reputation for being one of the best - if not the best - in the area. There is always a large attendance and as well as being a very happy community occasion, the festival helps to raise much needed funds to keep this beautiful church in good order.
The 2005 Flower Festival was entitled "With Hearts and Hands and Voices" and the 26 designs in church were based on favourite hymns. The church was filled with an amazing variety of flowers and was intensely colourful. According to the comments in the visitors book, we received visitors from Thailand, Virginia - USA, Latvia, Holland, as well as Harrogate, Bristol, Wiltshire and Malvern. Without exception those who visited the festival were very appreciative of the enormous talents of a gifted and hard working group of arrangers - comments included "Simply stunning; better than ever; inspirational and peaceful; delightful as usual; glorious; very moving; very uplifting; overwhelming; a wonderful achievement". :: Carole Pottle
